Gulf Coast Community Bank is participating
in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31,
2009, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire
amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to
and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
In addition, Gulf Coast Community Bank is
offering an insured NOW account under the TAGP. The TAGP dos not apply to all NOW account products
offered by the bank. To inquire about the TAGP insured NOW accounts, contact a Gulf Coast Community
Bank customer services representative.
Attempted fraudulent activity has been reported against several of our customer's debit cards. In order to protect your account we have tightened the approval controls on all debit cards used outside of the state of Florida and Alabama. If you will be traveling outside of one of these states and wish to use your card, please notify the bank and we will assist you in making your card available in other states.
